- Confer with management and supervisors to identify personnel vacancies, job specifications, job duties, qualifications, and skills relative to current and future positions within the company- Create, update and maintain job descriptions to match hiring managers criteria relative to job performance and qualifications and compliance with applicable legal mandates- Administrate the internal job posting program [including union bid program]- Facilitate and coordinate company-wide and ever-evolving onboarding process for all new hires.- Manage all recruiting and related activities to fill company-wide vacancies and newly created positions utilizing various recruiting sources- Develop and foster relationships with area educational institutions, employment agencies, and other sources of collaboration to enhance employee recruitment and retention initiatives- Periodically review and update human resource-related policies in conjunction with Human Resource Manager or designee- Administer the annual Performance Management System relative to training employees on system utilization, review of managers assessments.- Ensure all background checks and pre-employment physicals/drug screens are complete and meet the minimum requirements.- Make public presentations at schools, organizations, and job fairs regarding the organization and job opportunities- Maintain all data related to resumes, applicant flow, employee selection, job openings, and recruitment and relocation activities.
- Create and maintain defined progressions for specific positions- Perform periodic reporting relative to talent management responsibilities- Manage contract and temporary workers- Assist with Team Member appreciation events such as the Spring Picnic, Fall Festival and Holiday Party - Prompt and regular attendance is required.- Other duties may be assigned.
High attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Ability to adapt to changing staffing needs.
Bachelors degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university and at least five (5) years related recruiting and talent management experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Occasional local travel will be expected for this position.
Must be able to sit for an extended period of time. Occasional lifting and bending of up to 10 lbs. Ability to stand, walk, talk and hear.
Word, Excel, PowerPoint and database utilization. Familiarity with Ultimate Software is preferred but not required.
