    We are seeking a motivated intern to join our business development team. Within this department, the candidate will be responsible for compiling a comprehensive training program for Continental University, an unprecedented in-house training curriculum for internal employees and Continental partners. The candidate will document current best practices and assemble into a training curriculum. The candidate will assemble all the documentation of training materials and capture undocumented best practices as well as identify the processes on who, what and when trainees need to have the trainings and assessing the successfulness and providing input for all implemented training programs together with management.

    Essential duties and responsibilities

    - Document existing best practices and processes
    - Transform documented best practices into a training format and compile the group of best practices into a curriculum.
    - Work with leadership to identify gaps in the curriculum and develop plans to fill the gaps.
    - Coordinates with subject matter experts both internally and externally to develop training content by product types, market segments, internal systems and processes.
    - Creates templates for the standardization of all training materials
    - Creates specific training checklists for key roles and new hires
    - Develop training aids such as manuals and handbooks
    - Create a skills matrix to provide a training plan for team members to learn all required skills.
    - Present training programs using recognized training techniques and tools
    - Research and suggest assessment tools to measure training effectiveness

    Education and experience required

    Bachelors degree or related course of study at an accredited university or college. Ability to speak German or Chinese is a nice plus.

    Language skills

    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general training periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures. Ability to write training materials, business correspondence, and processes. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

    Mathematical, computer and technical skills

    Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneous in a fast-paced business environment.
    Fluent using software packages such as Microsoft Business environment which includes Word, Excel, Access or equivalent, PowerPoint, Visio, at expert level.

    Physical requirements

    Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time. Ability to lift 10 pounds repeatedly and lift up to 60 pounds. Ability to bending, reaching, and kneeling repeatedly. The Team member must be able to climb stairs and ladders. Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist required. This factor is important if it occurs to a considerable degree and requires full motion of the lower extremities and back muscles. Bending legs at knee to come to a rest on knee or knees required.
