    Summary of Responsibilities
    Performs any one or any combination of the following operations involving the shipping, receiving, storage and movement of material. Prepares and maintains inventory control documents, submits stock replenishment request, package and prepares material and supplies for shipment, receives and processes all incoming material per applicable procedures and maintains flow of material from station to station and material staging areas.
    Typical Duties
    - Maintains inventory control records for all material received and disbursed from stores.
    - Submits material receipts and disbursements documentation to Inventory Control.
    - Rotates and issues stock.
    - Assists in stocking assembly lines, test and other areas.
    - Packages material and supply parts per the specifications.
    - Masks and labels all engine containers per blueprints and instructions.
    - Attaches necessary papers and label to packages.
    - Loads and secures carrier vehicles.
    - Unloads material from carrier and moves to processing area.
    - Checks goods received against freight bill to verify correctness, notes discrepancies, delivery invoices on all local non-productive purchases and packing lists on all packages received from vendors.
    - Forwards necessary paperwork to receiving office.
    - Moves productive and non-productive material from station to station.
    - Keeps inventory at proper level in storage area.
    - Stocks production lines to avoid delays and line stoppage.
    - Segregates scrap materials, loads vendor trucks, loads and unloads incoming and outgoing materials.
    - Performs other related duties as assigned
    Special Skills and Qualifications Required
    Must be PC literate. Use of all types of material handling equipment such as forklift, floor jacks, count scales, tug, etc. Good mathematical background with ability to work with figures for sustained periods of time. High clerical aptitude. General knowledge of commercial and military shipping operations. Licensed by Safety Department to operate a forklift.

    Required Personal Protection Equipment. Material handling equipment of all types such as forklifts, tugs, floor jacks, counter scales and push dollies
