Summary Continental Motors is looking a motivated individual to join the marketing team. The candidate will mainly focus on tradeshows including the selection, preparation, execution & logistics, post exhibition reporting, customer databases, purchase of promotional items and office supplies, submission of invoices, financial,budgetary reviews for the department, and administrative responsibilities for Vice President. Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Support tradeshow efforts,special events throughout the planning and execution process- Register for events as outlined by the master calendar- Coordinate staffing efforts to ensure proper representation- Coordinate packing and shipping logistics for supplies and engines- Work with Sales, Marketing, and Business Development teams to develop contact goals- Recap show activity efforts versus contact goals- Procurement of promotional items- Work alongside sales team to execute follow up plan for leads generated at various events- Process capture and document creation of department processes- Create sales tools such as company one voice, capability sheets, presentations, manage archives of documentation- Manage customer database and perform maintenance to provide targeted distribution groups- Support Digital Marketing Associates efforts to create and disseminate email marketing, webinars. - Conduct surveys to capture consumer feedback and synthesize findings - Support customer visits to include onsite meetings and training seminar coordination- Manage department finances to include submission of invoices and budgetary analysis- Perform administrative functions for Vice President to include but not limited to coordinating travel, submitting expense receipts, coordinating meetings, monitoring office supplies, etc. Education and Experience Required Bachelors degree with a minimum of two years of related work experience. Foreign language abilities preferred in either German or Chinese. Language SkillsAbility to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Reasoning Ability Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.MathematicalAbility to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.Computer and Technical Proficient with MS Office skills which includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio and AccessExperience with Database Management such as SQL Server, Filemaker or MySQLPhysical Requirements Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time. Ability to lift 10 pounds repeatedly and lift up to 60 pounds. Ability to bending, reaching, and kneeling repeatedly. The Team member must be able to climb stairs or ladders. Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist required. This factor is important if it occurs to a considerable degree and requires full motion of the lower extremities and back muscles. Bending legs at knee to come to a rest on knee or knees required.TravelAbility to travel to support trade shows and special events.
