This internship position will support the routine accounting activities.
- Maintain the Fixed Asset Schedule- Record quarterly depreciations- Reconcile development and film costs- Various intercompany accounts- Record corresponding G/L transactions as well as adjustments.NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:The candidate will be also responsible for the full-cycle Accounts Payable process: review invoices, verify accuracy, G/L coding, route for proper approval and insure proper internal controls are followed, review data entry, weekly check run, and able to efficiently and timely process all vendor invoices, company expense reimbursements, and able to communicate procedures and company finance policies in a professional manner.
Finance/Accounting Bachelor degree from four-year college.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, and financial statements. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present analytical information and findings in a clear concise manner.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions and percentages.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Windows Office, MACOLA or other ERP accounting software.
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time. Ability to lift 10 pounds repeatedly and lift up to 60 pounds. Ability to bending, reaching, and kneeling repeatedly.
