Perform maintenance, preventive maintenance and alteration tasks as assigned in accordance with the applicable maintenance data and Federal Aviation Regulations.Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Becoming familiar with the PWC PT6A engine series.- Performing complete engine tear downs.- Ensuring all maintenance activities are performed according to the appropriate maintenance data.- Follow all Work Order instructions applicable to the requested maintenance to be performed by the customer.- Becoming familiar with the Repair Station Quality Control Manual contents and to comply with all applicable sections to the assign task.- Performing assembly of major components and progressing to assembly of complete engine.- Knowledge of and ability to adhere to safety requirements, OSHA, and environmental policies.- Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
The qualification for this position are the knowledge, experience and training required to perform the assign task.
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time. May require occasional bending, reaching, and kneeling. Must be able to lift 30 to 50 lbs.
High School education or GED.Graduation from an FAA Approved School and holding a Powerplant Certificate preferred.Prior experience working on turbine engines in a shop environment desired.One or two years related experience and training, or equivalent combination of education and experience desired.
Ability to read and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, service bulletins, airworthiness directives, service letters, etc. Ability to effectively present information in one on one and small groups to other employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Windows and Microsoft Word.

Understand Windows environment and Computer Aided Process Planning WORK CONTEXT Work location is indoors, continuous standing and walking, frequent reaching, infrequent twisting and climbing. Must be able to lift, push & pull and carry 10 to 40 lbs. during entire shift. Must be able to work in various chemicals.
