Interviews customers, assists with requests and records interview information into computer for customer service. Performs warranty administration.
- Talk with customers by phone, e-mail, fax or in person - Implement established procedures and policies governing customer correspondence and the handling of technical issues. - Investigate customer complaints regarding quality, tolerances, specifications, and delivered condition of products.- Perform warranty administration including verification, tracking, coding, modifying claims, entering disposition decisions, while ensuring timely and fair resolutions. - Solicit sale of new or additional services.- Referring complaints of service failures to designated departments for investigation.- Visit customers at their place of residence to investigate conditions.- Must be able to handle large volume of calls in a professional manner- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.- Must be able to succinctly communicate with the customer and direct inquiries to internal departments as appropriate, maintaining ownership of every call.- Follow through on calls and insures that they are properly closed.- Other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or four to ten years related experience and,or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and,or boards of directors.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Aircraft and Power Plant License, Private Pilot License desired.
