    Responsible for the accurate measurement, recording and reporting of all Quality Layout inspection processes. Plans, directs, and coordinates Layout, inclusive of supervisory responsibilities.
    Essential Duties and Responsibilities
    - Comply with all A,ISO,Internal procedures and work instructions
    - Direct, manage, and train team members engaged in Layout inspections and activities
    - Schedule the lab for all layouts as required
    - Operate CMM
    - Must be able to read CMM reports
    - Mount, install, align, and secure tools, attachments, fixtures, and work pieces on CMM machine using hand tools and precision measuring instruments
    - Develop and maintain CMM programs in accordance to company procedures
    - Read and interpret blueprints
    - Use micrometers, calipers and depth micrometers
    - Measure dimensions of finished work pieces to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments, templates, and fixtures
    - Must be able to assist with completing PPAP packages as directed
    - Must be accurate and precise in measurements, both as presented to the customer for sample layouts and to production for first piece and dimensional checks
    - Assist in collecting and analyzing data for measurement systems analysis, capability studies, design of experiments, etc.
    - Manage and maintain standards and specialized inspection equipment in Layout
    - Identify visual defects and make dispositions on inspected materials
    - Must be unbiased in approach to inspection results

    Non Essential Duties and Responsibilities
    - Possess familiarity with SPC concepts and applications are a plus
    - Knowledge of GD&T to be demonstrated upon receipt of training
    - Responsible for keeping work area clean and organized
    - Data entry and basic analysis of statistical process control charts
    - Ensure 5S is adhered to properly
    Education and Experience Required
    Associate Degree and relevant certificate from college or technical school, and,or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    Experience with Quality Assurance procedures and methods used in aviation is a plus. Experience with piston engine assembly and test operations, is also desired.
    Certificates
    CMM Lab Technician Certification is preferred.
    Skills Required
    Communication and Comprehension
    - Verbal and written communication skills are required
    - Fluent in English is required, knowledge of German is preferred
    Problem Solving
    - Maintain a team-oriented working environment that allows for process development, corrective action and problem solving
    - Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, policies and procedure manuals and operating instructions
    - Ability to effectively handle multiple activities simultaneously and successfully function in a fast-paced, cross functional manufacturing environment
    Mathematical
    - Ability to perform basic mathematical functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
    Computer and Technical
    - Knowledge of layout concepts and design equipment using Zeiss Calypso and PCDMIS software or alternative
    - Knowledge of computer systems, Microsoft Office Suite
