    The Instrumentation and Calibration Technician will work under general supervision to perform a wide range of skilled, journey level duties in the installation, maintenance, testing, calibration and repair of electrical systems and electronic control systems.

    Essential duties and responsibilities

    -Performs any in-house services required for instruments by existing standard operating procedures and guidelines.
    -Install conduit, wiring, and relative electrical,instrumentation device in order to conduct testing.
    -Work with a variety of sophisticated equipment including analytical and electronic measuring devices, recording and indicating instruments, and electrical, mechanical and electromechanical equipment.
    -Must be able to work with the team in developing improved,lean processes for the department
    -Ability to plan, prioritize and manage multiple task daily.
    -Knowledge of and ability to adhere to safety requirements, OSHA, and environmental policies.
    -Calibrating instruments and troubleshooting, installing and repairing mechanical components

    Physical requirements

    Ability to lift 50 pounds. Ability to stand or site for extended periods of time.

    Education and,or experience

    Associates degree or at least two years related experience and,or training or equivalent of education and experience.

    Language skills

    Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.

    Mathematical skills

    Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

    Reasoning ability

    Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in a mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
