From an early age, Chuck Cook had a great interest in aviation. He soloed at the age of 16 and on his 17th birthday attained his Private Pilot license. After graduating high school he attended Braniff Education Systems Aviation Maintenance program completing the course with an A&P rating at the age of 19. Chuck continued his education in the field of aviation earning his Commercial, Instrument, and Multi-Engine ratings. Chuck added Flight Instructor ratings for Instrument, Multi-Engine, and Advanced Ground Instructor. In 2010, Chuck became a Master Flight Instructor, and is both a Maintenance and Flight Instructor for the Beechcraft Pilot Proficiency Program. Chuck is the Service Coordinator for the Continental Motors’ Factory Service Center in Fairhope AL.
Neal George joined Continental Motors in 2012 after serving 20 years in the United States Air Force. Captain George worked as a Space and Missile Officer providing vital service to our nation’s defense and GPS satellite deployment. Neal has always been interested in aviation and earned his Private Pilot certificate in 2001 and added an Instrument rating in 2003. Neal earned his Airframe and Powerplant license in 2005 and added an Inspection Authorization in 2008. In his spare time, Neal enjoys flying his 1966 Piper Cherokee 180 and is building a Van’s RV-7.
Jason began his aviation career right out of high school, obtaining his Private Pilot license in 2002 at age 19. He added his Instrument, Commercial, and Multi-engine ratings while earning an Associate’s Degree in Career Pilot and Aviation Management at Guilford Technical Community College (GTCC) in Greensboro NC. Jason continued his education in aviation by obtaining his Bachelor of Science in Professional Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in 2007 and his Airframe and Powerplant certification at GTCC in 2010. Jason started work with Continental in early 2012 as an A&P mechanic at our Factory Service Center in Fairhope, Alabama. He recently was promoted to our team in Customer Service. Jason enjoys volunteering his time in the local Civil Air Patrol unit, where he serves as the unit’s Maintenance Officer.
Ron Humphrey began his career in aviation maintenance by obtaining his Airframe and Powerplant Certificate at Pensacola Junior College in 1989 where he graduated top of his class. Ron holds a Private Pilot License and an Inspection Authorization rating. In 1996 Ron joined Continental Motors as a line mechanic and progressed to manager of the Factory Service Center. Due to his infinite knowledge of the Continental product, Ron was assigned to the Customer Service Team in March of 2010. When not working at Continental, Ron is often found restoring aircraft or camping under the wing of his personal plane.
Shaine has been employed with Continental Motors for more than 20 years and held many positions related to customer service and sales within the company. Shaine earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications from the University of Montevallo. After holding positions in the Continental Motors Finance department, Shaine was promoted to the customer service team in 1996.
Upon graduation from high school Patrick joined the U.S. Navy and was trained as an airframe structural and hydraulics technician. After his tour in the military, Patrick earned his Airframe and Powerplant license from Alabama Aviation Technical College. Patrick is a graduate of Enterprise Ozark College. Patrick has been employed with Continental Motors for over 30 years and held positions in Aircraft Maintenance, Technical Publications, Engineering Configuration and Customer Service.
“Katie” is a recent graduate of Auburn University with a degree in Business Administration and the newest member of the Factory Services Team. She began working with Continental Motors in May of 2012 and promoted to Factory Services in July. Katie’s responsibilities include Warranty Administration and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Account Coordinator. Katie enjoys flying and currently working toward her private pilot’s license. Continental Motors is pleased to have Katie as part of our service team. When not working for Continental, Katie enjoys singing and recording contemporary music.
